About
No matter what type of therapy you are looking for, the relationship that you form with your therapist is the greatest predictor of successful treatment.

I call myself a holistic psychotherapist because I incorporate somatic or body-based techniques into traditional (i.e. psychodynamic) talk therapy that is relational and trauma-informed.
As humans, we are driven to seek meaning and purpose in life as well as a sense of belonging and connection to others. People often explore these needs by examining and questioning their thoughts and beliefs. As a therapist, I provide a respectful, affirming, non-ideological environment where clients can feel safe and supported.
Since everyone comes to therapy with unique needs, personalities, goals, and life experiences, there is no standard protocol or timeframe for treatment. I work in collaboration with each client and aim to meet people where they are at and work within their window of tolerance.

Like many trauma specialists, my work is underpinned by my own recovery and reparation of relationships. I consider it a great honour and a privilege to accompany others in their journey toward wellness.
I am the mother of two adult children, owner of a labrador retriever, an avid knitter, an outdoor enthusiast, and a local chorister.
